Police
Clearance Certificate
This certificate is
issued only to Indian nationals on the basis of the
passport and is country specific. The following documents
are required:.
a).
Miscellaneous application form
[115 kb. *.doc], complete in all respects.
The application form has to be signed at two different
places, including the declaration. Without this, no
service can be rendered. The country for which the
PCC is required also must be mentioned.
b). Passport in original. A noting to the effect that
a PCC has been issued will be made in the passport.
c). Fee of US$ 10
In case the passport
has not been issued from this Embassy, clearance would
be required from the original Passport Issuing Authority.
This can take upto 30 days. No PCC can be issued
till such clearance is received.

Marriage
Certificate
The Embassy does
not issue original marriage certificates / certification
of registration of marriages for marriages held in India.
Such certificates can only be issued by the Registrar
of Marriages, normally present at the district level
in India, according to the marriage laws of the particular
religion.
However, based on entries
already in the passport, the Embassy can issue a certificate
of marriage in case the marriage has not been registered.
The following documents are required:
Miscellaneous

filled and signed in four places including the declaration,
without which no service will be rendered.
Passports, in original, of both husband and wife (the
passport should contain the spouse's name).
Fee of US$ 10.

Birth
Certificate
The Embassy does not
issue original birth certificates for births that have
taken place in India. Births of Indian nationals that
take place in Peru / Bolivia can be registered with
the Embassy and a birth certificate of the same is issued
by the Embassy. The procedure for this is given in the
section "Registration
of Births".
However, for other Indian
nationals, based on entries made in the passport, the
Embassy can issue a birth certificate. The following
documents are required:

Passport in original.
Fee of US$ 10.
The certificate is
normally issued in English. However, a Spanish version
of the same is also issued at an additional cost of
US$ 10.

Nationality
Certificate
Normally, the passport
is accepted as proof of Indian citizenship. However,
in special cases, at the request of the applicant, a
nationality certificate can be issued by the Embassy,
certifying that as per his passport details, the applicant
is an Indian citizen. The following documents are required:

Bachelorship
certificate
A bachelorship or eligibility
of marriage certificate can only be issued by a court
of law in India. The Embassy does not issue any bachelorship
certificate. In case the applicant already holds such
a bachelorship certificate, the Embassy can legalise
it, but only after it has been legalised by the Consular
Division of Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi.
Further details are given in the section "Attestations".
However, in case such
a certificate is sometimes asked by local authorities
and the applicant is unable to go to India, the Embassy
can stamp a personal affidavit / declaration (without
vouching for its contents) by the applicant that he
is a bachelor. Following documents are required:

Death
certificate
This service is only
provided in respected of a person who was an Indian
national at the time of death. Further, the Embassy
can issue death certificates only for deaths that have
occurred in Peru / Bolivia. The following documents
are required:
Relatives or friends/employers
of the deceased may apply, giving an ordinary letter
explaining the circumstances and requesting a death
certificate.
Passport of the deceased in original. This will be
cancelled and returned to the applicant.
Death certificate issued by the hospital/municipal
authority/registrar of births and deaths.
Fee of US$ 20.

Other
Certificates
The Embassy also issues
some other special certificates related to areas like
trade, other civil matters, etc. Applicants are requested
to contact the Embassy directly for details about such
certificates.
