they have to pay US$ 28 courier charges each
way (per set of applications) or use pre-paid courier for delivery of passport to and from Lima.

Some of the services
(like attestations, etc.) can also be applied by non-Indian
citizens. In such cases, instead of the Miscellaneous
Application Form, a simple letter requesting the particular
service is sufficient. A copy of the National Identity
Document (DNI, Carnet, etc.) can be presented instead
of the passport.
In addition to the services
listed in this website, the Consular Section also provides
a host of other usual consular services, mostly to Indian
nationals, including help to Indian nationals in distress,
protection of interests of Indian nationals, administration
of assets after death, etc. Applicants are requested
to directly contact the Embassy for such services.
The Consular Section
welcomes information and suggestions for further improving
its service as well as about problems being faced, if
any, by Indian nationals in Peru and Bolivia.
